Weather Forecast During 12-13 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast to low pressure cell in the middle South China Sea. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain is likely in the areas with heavy rain some places in the North and the Northeast. The wind wave in the upper Andaman is about 2 meters high. After that during 14-18 Aug, the strong southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Increasing rain is expected in the Central, the East and the South. The wind wave in the Andaman and the Gulf of Thailand are likely 2-3 meters high.
Typhoon “UTOR” over the Philippines and moves across to the middle South China Sea. It is expected to make landfall the Southern of China on 15 Aug.
Warning During 12-16 Aug, people in the North, the upper Northeast, should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
