General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast to the low pressure in the Gulf of Tonkin. More rain and isolated heavy rain are likely in the North and the upper Northeast. People should beware of heavy rain during 19-22 August.
The weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Less rain is likely in the Central,
the East and the South during this period.
Tropical storm “TRAMI” is expected to move to Taiwan while the tropical depression makes landfall at eastern China.
All travelling to Luzon, Philippines, Taiwan and eastern China should take caution. Both storm have no significant effect on Thailand.
