Weather Forecast During 22-25 Aug, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf
of Thailand. More rain and isolated heavy rain are likely in the Central, the East and the South. Abundant rains are likely in the North and
the upper Northeast. Wind wave 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman and the Gulf of Thailand. During 22-24 Aug, the southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. Decreasing rains are likely in the Central, the East and the South.
Tropical storm “TRAMI” in lower China will move westward and will downgrade to the tropical depression and the low pressure cell.
Warning 22-25 Aug, people in the North, the western Central, the East and the upper South should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore.
