General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time At 4.00 a.m. LST 19 September, the tropical depression in the coastal area of Vietnam was centered about 150 kilometers east of Da Nang, Vietnam or latitude 15.0 degree North, longitude 109.5 degree East. It is moving west 10 km/h with maximum sustained winds about 55 km/hr. It is forecast to make landfall over middle Vietnam today. The storm is also expected to pass the southern Laos PDR through lower Northeast, Thailand. More rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely in the Northeastern : Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Yasothon, Roi Et, Si Sa Ket and Surin provinces and the Eastern: Rayong, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces during 19-21 September.
Tropical storm “USAGI” in the western Philippines trends to move near Taiwan and southeastern China during 21-22 September. This storm has no significant impact on Thailand.
