General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The rather strong monsoon trough will remain across the lower Central, the upper South and the East through 5 October. The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. These causes abundant rain and isolated heavy rain in the lower Central, the East and the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy rain during 3-5 October. The provinces include Lop Buri, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Ratchaburi, Bangkok Metropolis and vicinity, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Tropical storm “FITOW” in the Pacific Ocean is moving north to nearly Okinawa Island, Japan. This storm has not significant impact on Thailand.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Tak, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Kamphaeng Phet,

Phichit and Phetchabun.

Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Lop Buri, Saraburi,

Minimum temperature 23-24 ?C. Maximum temperature 30-32 ?C.

Variable winds 10-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok,

Chachoengsao,

Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 23-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 29-31 ?C.

Variable winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Very cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Minimum temperature 23-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 30-33 ?C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Ranong, Phang-nga and Phuket.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.
