Weather Forecast During 7-9 Oct, the high pressure area from China extends to upper Thailand. 2-3 oC drops and morning cool is likely in the North and the Northeast. The active low pressure cell covers the upper Andaman Sea and the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain is expected in the lower Central, Bangkok and Vicinity, the East and the upper South. The strong wind wave is likely in the upper Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand with about 2-3 meters high.
During 10-13 Oct, this high pressure area will weaken. Increasing temperature is expected over the North and the Northeast. The monsoon trough will lie across the lower Central and the East. Abundant rain and isolated heavy rain will remain in the Central and the East. The weakening southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. The wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand become to be weak.
Typhoon “DANAS” over the Pacific Ocean will move to Japan during 8-9 Oct. This storm is no significant on Thailand.
Warning During 7-9 Oct, people in the lower Central, the East and the upper South should beware of heavy rain. All ship in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
