Weather Forecast During 8-11 Oct, the high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand. 2-3 oC drops and morning cool are likely in the North and the Northeast. The monsoon trough lies across the upper South and the East, and the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy rain are expected in the East and the upper South. The strong wind wave is likely in the upper Andaman Sea about 2-3 meters high.
During 12-14 Oct, the high pressure will weaken leading to increasing temperature over the North and the Northeast. The monsoon trough will lie across the lower Central and the East. Abundant rain and isolated heavy rain remain in the Central and the East. The weak southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand bring less rain in the South, as well as wind wave in the areas.
Typhoon “DANAS” over the Pacific will move to Japan during 8-9 Oct. The storm has not a significant impact on Thailand.
Warning During 8-9 Oct, people in the East and the upper South should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
