General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time At 04.00 a.m. on 4 November, Tropical storm “Krosa” downgraded from typhoon’s strength is centered about 200 km east of Hainan Island, China or at latitude 19.3 degree North and longitude 113.0 degree East, with maximum sustained winds about 70 km/hr. The storm is moving west at speed of 10 km/hr.
On 4 November, “Krosa” is expected to decline to a tropical depression and lowpressure cell gradually due to the impact of dry and cool air mass from China. It possibly dissipates at the coast of Vietnam and has no a direct significant impact on Thailand.
The high pressure over upper Thailand causes cool in the morning, as well as light fog and windy in the North, the Northeast and the upper Central while the South receives more rain during 4-5 November.
The active low cell located far East of the Philippines is expected to gain strength as a tropical depression and move to the South China Sea during 5-6 November.
