Weather Forecast During 6-7, the high pressure area from China extends to upper Thailand leading morning cool with light fog likely in the North, the Northeast and the Central. After that this high pressure area will weaken. Rising in temperature is expected in upper Thailand and dense fog in some places. During 11-12 Nov, another rather strong high pressure area from china will extend to upper Thailand. Dropping in temperature is expected in upper Thailand during the period.
The tropical depression over the South China Sea will move across southern Vietnam then downgrade to low cell covering the upper Gulf of Thailand during 7-8 Nov. Increasing rain are likely in the East, the lower Central and the South with isolated very heavy rain in the upper South. The stronger wind wave with 2-3 meters high is expected in the Gulf of Thailand.
The Typhoon “HAIYAN” will move across the Philippines and the South China Sea, and make landfall at central Vietnam during 10-11 Nov. After that this Typhoon will rapidly weak due to the affect of cool and dry air from China. Rainfalls are expected over the Northeast of Thailand.
Warning During 7-9 Nov, people in the East and the upper South should beware of heavy to very heavy rain. During 7-11 Nov, all ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution.
