General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The nearly active high pressure from China has been extending continuously to Thailand until 4 December. Cooler weather by 2-4 ?C drops is likely over the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East while the whole Northeast, as well as provinces of the North, becomes cold, lower than 16 ?C. Provinces include Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun. People should provide clothes for their safety due to the weather change.

The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South,and the low pressure over the head of Borneo Island will cover Malaysia. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is forecast from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. People should beware of the severe weather. The wind wave in the Gulf is expected 2-4 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 2-3 December.

Lower Gulf from Surat Thani downward:
