General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time Another high pressure area from China has extended to cover south of China and upper Vietnam. It is expected to cover Laos and upper Thailand this morning cause cooler weather and 1-3 ?C drop with fog in the morning. It start form the Northeast before and the other part will be affect in the next time.
The rather strong northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand and the South and the low pressure over Malacca strait lead to isolated heavy rain over Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Trang and Satun. People should beware of the severe weather. The wind wave in the Gulf is expected 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats in the Gulf of Thailand form Nakhon Si Thammarat southward keep ashore.
