Weather Forecast On 8 Dec, the moderate high pressure covers upper Thailand. Cooler weather by slight drop in temperature is likely in the areas. The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South of Thailand leading the strong wind wave 2-3 meters high in the lower Gulf.
During 9-13 Dec, this high pressure area over upper Thailand will weaken while the westerly trough from Myanmar will move across the North, the upper Northeast and the upper central during 10-14 Dec. rise in temperature and rainfall is expected over upper Thailand. The weakening northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf and the South of Thailand. The wind wave remains about 2 meters in the lower Gulf.
Warning All ships in the Gulf of Thailand from Nakorn Si Thammarat downward should proceed with caution throughout the period.
Northern Part During 8-9 Dec, cool to cold with fog in the morning
and thick patches in some areas.
