General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time During 24-25 May, the moderate southwesterly winds prevail over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. More rain is expected over the country. Thundershowers remain in the western North, the western Central, the east and the South West Coast. While the southeasterly winds prevail over South China Sea, more rain is expected over the Northeast of Thailand. The strong wind wave in the upper Andaman sea with 2-3 meters high. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution.
At 04.00 a.m. today, the tropical depression over the Bay of Bengal , located at the west of Rangoon, Myanmar about 440 kilometers, is moving northeast slowly to make landfall over the border of Myanmar and Bangladesh by 24 May. The storm will not affect the weather in Thailand except strong wind wave in the north of Ranong Province.
