Weather Forecast During 15-16 June, the moderate monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast. The strong southwest winds prevail over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Abundant rain, as well as isolated heavy to very heavy rain, is expected over the country. The stronger wind waves in the Andaman Sea are likely 2-4 meters high.
During 17-21 June, the trough will weaken, as well as the weak southwest monsoon, leading to less rain and the weaker wind waves 2 meters high.
Warning During 15-16 June, people in the North, the upper Northeast, the Central, the East and the South should beware of the severe conditions. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 14-15 June.
