General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. During 8-10 July, the wind waves are likely 3-5 meters high in the Andaman Sea and 2-4 meters high in the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.

Thailand will have more rain, as well as isolated heavy rain, in the South West coast and the East. People should beware of heavy rain.

During 9-10 July, Typhoon “NEOGURI” over the Pacific Ocean will move to Japan with no effect on Thailand. Travelers should check and follow the weather forecast before their departure.
