General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time At 4.00 a.m. on 17 July, Typhoon “RAMMASUN”, over the middle South China Sea or at 16.0 degree north, longitude 116.0 degree East, has sustained wind of about 130 km/hr. It is moving west about 20 km/hr. It is expected to move Hainan Island during 18-19 July while the stronger southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain is expected with isolated windy and heavy rain. People below should beware of heavy rain:
During 17-18 July, Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong and Phang-nga.
During 18-20 July, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phetchabun Chanthaburi, Trat, Ranong and Phang-nga.
The strong wind waves with 2-4 meters high of both the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf during 18-20 July. All ships should proceed with caution and keep ashore.
