During 26-30 July, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen and the low pressure cell will cover the upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. More rain is likely over Thailand and isolated heavy rain in the upper North, the Northeast, the East and the western part of Thailand. The stronger wind wave with 2-3 meters high is expected over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand.
Tropical storm “MATMO” over the Fujian, China is moving north and it is forecast to head for Shanghai and become weak with no effect on Thailand. During 24-26 July, travelers should follow the weather forecast before their departure for eastern China.
Warning During 26-30 July, people in the North, the Northeast, the East and the upper South West Coast should beware of heavy rain. All vessels the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
