General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand to the active low pressure cell in Hainan. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers are likely over the country, as well as isolated heavy rain in the Northeast and the East. The provinces include Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat. People in the areas should beware of the severe condition. The wave height in the upper Andaman Sea is expected 2-3 meters. All ships in the Upper Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
