Weather Forecast Weather Forecast: During 11-12 Sep, the weaken monsoon trough lies over the lower North, the upper central and the lower Northeast to low pressure cell in middle South China Sea while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered rain is likely overall country and isolated heavy rain in the East and the South West Coast with the wave height about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea.
During 13-17 Sep, the monsoon trough will strengthen and the active low pressure cell will move to cover upper Vietnam. While the southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand is stronger. Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers are likely over Thailand, as well as isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South West Coast. The stronger wind wave in the Andaman Sea is expected 2-3 meters high.
During 14-17 Sep, the active low pressure cell in the east of the Philippines was upgraded to tropical cyclone. It is forecast to move to middle South China Sea.
Warning Warning: During 13-17 Sep, People in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South West Coast should beware of heavy rain and all ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and during 14-17 Sep, small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore.
