General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The weak high pressure areas remain extended to the North and the Northeast of Thailand while the monsoon trough lies across the lower Central, the upper South and the East. Scattered to fairy widespread rain and isolated heavy rain is likely in the Central, the East and the South.
During 4-6 Oct, another rather strong high pressure area from China will extend to the North and the Northeast of Thailand. Thundershowers with gust are expected over the upper Thailand at the beginning then 2-4 ?C drops. The stronger monsoon trough will across the lower Central, the upper South and the East with more rain and isolated heavy rain.
During 1-2 weeks ahead of season change, thundershowers trend to reduce over the North and the Northeast following with the threat of cold spell and morning fog.
