General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The strong high pressure from China has extended to the upper North and the Northeast of Thailand. A decrease in temperature is likely by 2-4 ?C. The active monsoon trough across the South brings fairly widespread rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain. The provinces include Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Strong wind and waves are expected 2-3 meters high. People should beware of severe condition due to collective rainfall. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats should keep ashore during 7-8 October.
The low pressure over the Andaman Sea will become stronger. It is likely to move to India.
