General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The weak high pressure from China covers the upper North and the Northeast of Thailand. Cool with fog are likely in the morning and isolated rain over the upper country. Scattered to fairly widespread rain is expected in the lower Central, the East and the South due to the monsoon trough across the upper South and the Gulf of Thailand. The areas include Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong, Phang-nga and Phuket. People should beware of severe condition due to collective rainfall. The strong wind and waves are expected 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore during 9-11 October.
