The northeast monsoon prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand with scattered to fairly widespread rain as well as isolated heavy rain in the South. The moderate wind-wave is about 2 meters of height in the Gulf of Thailand.
During 18-22 Oct, this high pressure area will weaken and the easterly wave will move from the South China Sea to upper Thailand. Rising in temperature and widely scattered to scattered rain is expected in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. The weakening northeast monsoon will prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread rain as well as isolated heavy rain remain in the South East Coast.
Warning People in the South East Coast should beware of heavy rain and collective rainfall throughout the period. All ship in the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution during 16-17 Oct.
