Weather Forecast During 9-11 Dec, the moderate high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand. Cool weather with slight drop in temperature is likely in the upper Thailand. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and southern Thailand. Widely scattered to scattered thundershower is expected in the South.
During 12-15 Dec, another rather strong northeast monsoon from China will extend to cover upper Thailand. Cooler weather with drop in temperature 2-3 C and windy are expected in the upper Thailand. The northeast monsoon prevailing the Gulf and southern Thailand will strengthen. More rain are expected in the areas with 2-3 meters of high wave from Surat Thani downward.
Downgraded from the typhoon, tropical storm “HAGUPIT” located over the middle of Philippines will be expected to move through the middle South China Sea during 9-10 December. It then will weaken rapidly with no effect on Thailand.
Warning During 12-15 Dec, people in the upper Thailand should take care of your health and keep warm due to cool weather. All ship in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
