General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time Another intense high pressure from China will extend to cover upper Thailand tomorrow. During 17-19 December, cooler weather with windy and 3-5 C drops are likely over upper Thailand. Cold with temperature below 15 C will last many days in the North and the Northeast, possible frost in the mountaintops.
The strong northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf and southern Thailand. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is expected from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. People in the areas should beware of influence accumulation rainfall. Strong wind wave 2-4 meters of high is likely in the lower Gulf from Pracuap Khiri Khan downward. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during the period.
