General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The strong high pressure from China covers upper Thailand. During 17-19 December, cooler weather with windy and 4-6 C drops are likely over upper Thailand. Cold with temperature below 15 C is in the North and the Northeast with possible frost in mountaintops.
The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and southern Thailand. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Phattalung, Songkha, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and Satun. People in the areas should beware of influence accumulation rainfall.
The strong wind wave 2-4 meters high is likely in the lower Gulf from Pracuap Khiri Khan downward. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 17-19 December.
