Weather Forecast During 17-19 Dec, the stronger high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand. Cooler weather, dropping by 3-5 C, is expected. Strong wind and isolated frost is possible in the upper country. The stronger northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and southern Thailand. More rain, as well as isolated heavy to heavy, also occurs in the lower part while wind waves 2-4 meters high is likely in the Gulf. During 20-21 Dec, the high pressure will weaken forcing a rise in temperature with morning fog. The wind-wave in the South becomes weak. During 22-23 Dec, another high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand with cooler weather dropping by 3-5 C. The wind-wave in the South will be expected to intensify.
Warning During 17-19 and 22-23 Dec, people in upper Thailand should keep healthy and warm due to the cool weather. People in the Gulf should beware of strong wind waves. All ships should proceed with caution, and during 17-19 December small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.
Northern Part During 18-20 Dec, 3-5 C drops with fog in the morning. Cold in the upper part, minimum temperature 11-14 C.
Cool to cold in the lower part. Minimum temperature 14-17 C. Maximum temperature 26-31 C.
Very cold in the mountaintop and isolated frost, minimum temperature 3-6 C.
During 21-22 Dec, rise in temperature and morning fog.
