General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The strong high pressure remains covers upper Thailand. During 18-19 December, cooler weather, dropping by 3-5 C with windy is likely over the upper country. Especially, the North and Northeast will receive cold with temperature below 15 C while some possible frost occurs on mountaintops.
The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and southern Thailand. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is expected over Songkha, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and Satun. People should beware of influence accumulation rainfall.
The strong wind wave 2-4 meters high is likely in the lower Gulf from Pracuap Khiri Khan downward. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 18-19 December.
