Weather Forecast During 21-24 Dec, another high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand. Cooler weather dropping by 2-3 ?C with windy is likely over the upper country. The strong northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and southern Thailand. More rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain is expected in the lower South with the strong wind-wave 2-4 meters of high.

During 25-27 Dec, this high pressure over upper Thailand will weaken. Rising in temperature with morning fog is expected over upper Thailand. But cool weather remains over the areas. The northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and southern Thailand will weaken. Decreasing rain is expected in the lower South while wind waves still about 2 meters high is likely in the lower Gulf.

Warning During 22-24 Dec, people from Nakhon Si Thammarat downward should beware of influence of accumulated rainfall. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore

Northern Part During 22-25 Dec, 1-3 o C drops. Cold and morning fog.

Minimum temperature 10-16 C. Maximum temperature 26-30 C.

Very cold in the mountaintop and isolated frost, minimum temperature 3-8 C.

During 26-27 Dec, slight rises in temperature with fog in the morning and thick patches in some places.

Cold in the upper part, minimum temperature 13-15 C. Elsewhere cool, minimum temperature 16-18 C.

Maximum temperature 28-31 C. Cold to very cold in the mountaintop, minimum temperature 5-12 C.

Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Northeastern Part During 22 -24 Dec, 2-3 oC drops with windy.

Cold in the morning, minimum temperature 11-16 C. Maximum temperature 27-30 C.

Cold to very cold in the mountaintop, minimum temperature 4-10 C. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Surat Thani southward: Northeasterly winds 20-45 km/hr. Wave height 2-4 meters.
