General Situation at 04:00 The high pressure area extended upper Thailand is weakening. Rising temperature morning fog and thick patches in some places are likely over upper Thailand. Cold with temperature remains in the North and the Northeast. The northeast monsoon over the South and the Gulf of Thailand is weakening. Less rain is likely over the South. However people in Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat should beware of influence of accumulated rainfall during 1-2 days. The wind wave about 2 meters high is likely in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. All ships should proceed with caution.
During 28-31 Dec, another rather strong high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand. Cooler weather and 4-6 C drops with windy are expected over the upper Thailand. The stronger northeast monsoon will prevail across the Gulf and Southern Thailand. More rain and isolated heavy rain is expected in the South with the strong wind-wave 2-4 meters high in the Gulf.
