Thailand Daily Weather Forecast

General Situation During 30 December 2014 to 1 January 2015, the rather strong northeast monsoon across the South and the Gulf of Thailand leads to scattered rain, as well as isolated heavy rain, over the lower South, especially in Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. People should beware of the severe condition due to influence of accumulative rainfall. The strong wind waves are likely 2-4 meters high in the lower Gulf. Residents along the coast should beware of inshore surge. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats from Nakhon Si Thammarat passed south keep ashore until 2 January 2015.

The upper portion of Thailand will receive cooler weather with windy, dropping by 1-2 C. Possible frost occurs persitently on mountaintops throughout 2 January 2015.

During 30-31 December, tropical cyclone “JANGMI” over the lower Philippines will move to the South China Sea. Travelers are advised to follow the weather forecast before their departure.
