General Situation The rather strong high pressure will have been covering the Northeast of Thailand by 11 January. The westerly trough moves across the North and upper Northeast affecting variable weather condition over the areas, especially in the North and the upper Northeast. Thunderstorm with gust is likely first, as well as some possible hail while cool to cold occurs then by 6-8 C drops. The northeast monsoon prevailing across the South and the Gulf of Thailand will intensify with more rain and waves 2-3 meters high over the lower areas.
