General Situation The ridge of moderate high pressure over China still extends to upper Thailand. During 2-3 February, drops in temperature by 1-2 C with stronger wind are likely in the upper country. The stronger northeast monsoon will prevail across the Gulf, southern Thailand and the Andaman Sea. The South is expected waves about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani passing south and the Andaman Sea.
