Weather Forecast Weather Forecast: During 2-3 Feb, the ridge of rather strong high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand. Cool to cold in the morning by dropping 1-2 C with strong wind is likely over upper Thailand. The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and southern Thailand. The wind wave about 2-3 meters high is expected in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani passing south and the Andaman Sea.
During 4-5 Feb, the high pressure area over upper Thailand will weaken. Slight dropping in temperature is expected over upper Thailand with morning fog and thick patches will occur in some areas. The weakening northeast monsoon will prevail over the South and the Gulf of Thailand. The wave 1-2 meters high will remain in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea.
During 6-8 Feb, another moderate high pressure area will extend to cover upper Thailand. Cool weather by slight drop in temperature is expected over upper Thailand. The stronger northeast monsoon will prevail over the South and the Gulf of Thailand with wave 2 meters high in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani passing south.
Warning People in the upper Thailand should take care of your health and all travelers should beware of poor visibility due to dense fog. All ships in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani passing south should proceed with caution, small boats in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani passing south keep ashore during 2-3 Feb.
