General Situation The high pressure over upper Thailand is weakening, but cold weather and mist in the morning remains. The strong northeast monsoon remains across the Gulf, southern Thailand and the Andaman Sea. The waves 2-3 meters high are expected in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani passing south and the lower Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats further keep ashore.

During 6-9 February, another moderate high pressure from China will extend to the upper country. It affects cooler weather than the present condition. People should keep warm and healthy.
