General Situation The high pressure from China is extending to the upper northeast and the South China Sea. The southeasterly winds prevailing upper Thailand will strengthen while hot weather occurs in the portions with very hot in some areas. Thunderstorms and gusty wind remains in the North, the Northeast the Central and the East. The southwesterly winds prevailing the Andaman Sea and the west portion of Thailand causes scattered thundershowers in the south west coast.
Due northeast of Taiwan, Typhoon “NOUL” tracks northeast and is expected to head to Japan with no effect on Thailand. During 12-13 May, all travelers should stay tuned for the weather update.

Northern Part Hot with haze during the day and very hot in some area. Widely scattered thunderstorms with
isolated gusty wind in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae,
Uttaradit, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-41 C.

Northeastern Part Hot with haze during the day. Widely scattered thunderstorms, as well as isolated gusty wind
mostly in Loei, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon, Mukdahan,
Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima.
