General Situation The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the South while the southeasterly winds prevails over the Northeast and the East. Abundant thundershowers and isolated heavy rain are expected in the South West Coast mostly in Ranong, Phang-nga and Krabi. People should beware of heavy rain.
During 17-21 Jun, wave hight 2-3 meters is likely in the upper Andaman Sea. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with this caution and small boats in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore.
