General Situation At 05.00 a.m. LST today, the tropical storm “KUJIRA” in the upper South China Sea was centered about 180 kilometers from Hainan Island or latitude 17.2 degree North, latitude 111.6 degree East with maximum sustained winds about 75 km/hr. It is moving North slowly. The trends to cover Hainan Island and the South of China during 24 June 2015. These cause the area to the east of the Northeast with more rain lasting 25 June.
The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea the South and the Gulf of Thailand is intensify rain and isolated heavy rain remain over the East and the South west cost of Thailand. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand remains strong. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore during 22-27 June.
