General Situation At 4.00 a.m. LST today, Tropical storm “KUJIRA” in the Gulf of Tonkin was due about 100 kilometers east of Ha-noi city Vietnam, or latitude 20.2 degree North, longitude 107.0 degree East, with maximum sustained winds about 65 km/hr. It is moving Northwest at 10 km/hr to make landfall over upper Vietnam by 24 June with more rain expected in the Northeast of Thailand. All travelers should follow the weather forecast before their departure.
The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand remains strong. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should keep ashore until 27 June 2015.
