Weather Forecast During 3-5 Jul, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf. More rain is likely in the East and the South while less in the others. After that, during 5-9 Jul, the low pressure cell will cover upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin, and the strong southwest monsoon remains over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf. Increasing rain is expected over Thailand with isolated heavy rain in the East and the South. The strong wind waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand with 2-3 meters high throughout the period.
Tropical cyclone “LINFA” and tropical cyclone “CHAN-HOM” in the Pacific ocean eastern of the Philippines will move to China and Japan. Both Storms have no affect Thailand.
Warning During 4 - 8 Jul, people in the East and the upper South should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 4 - 9 Jul.
