General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, Laos and the upper Vietnam into the low pressure cell the Gulf of Tonkin. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain is likely over the North, the westward of the Central and the South. The strong wind waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand with waves 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore until 11 July.
