General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand to low pressure cell in Tonkin Bay, and the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain over the country and isolated heavy rain are expected. The strong wind wave is expected 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea from Phuket upward. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
