General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the upper North of Thailand and the upper Laos to a low pressure cell over the Gulf of Tonkin, and the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. More rain is likely over upper Thailand with heavy rain in some place of the North and the Northeast. The wave height about 2 meters is expected in the upper Andaman Sea from Phuket upward. All ship in the area should proceed with caution.
