Weather Forecast The monsoon trough will lie across upper Thailand and upper Laos, the strong southwest monsoon prevail across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand throughout the period. Rainfalls continue over Thailand with isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the East and the upper South. The strong wind waves 2-3 meters high is expected in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand.
Typhoon “SOUDELOR” in the Pacific Ocean will move to Taiwan and made landfall at Fujian Provincial, China during 7-8 Aug. All travelers would check weather forecast before your departure. This storm has not a significant impact on Thailand.
Warning During 5-7 and 9-11 Aug, People in risky areas in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South should beware of heavy rain and flash flood. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore throughout the period.
