General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the upper North of Thailand and upper Laos, and the intense southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain with isolated heavy rain is likely in North, the Northeast, the East and the South. People in risky areas should beware of possible flash flood. The provinces include Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Trat, Ranong, Phang-nga and Phuket. The wind-waves are expected 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
Typhoon “SOUDELOR” in the Pacific Ocean will head to Fujian, China by 8 August. The storm has not a significant impact on Thailand.

Phuket upward: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.
