General Situation The monsoon trough remains across Myanmar and upper Vietnam and the weak southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand leads to less rain over Thailand.
After that during, 20-24 Aug, this monsoon trough will move to across the North and the upper East of Thailand, and the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. More rain is expected over Thailand during the period.
Typhoon “GONI” over the Pacific Ocean. It’s expected move to Taiwan during 22-23 August. All travelers should stay tuned for the weather update. The storm has not a significant impact on Thailand.
