General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and Laos and the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand leads to thundershower rain in the North and the upper Northeast.
After that, during Aug 21-25, this monsoon trough will move across the North and the upper Northeast Thailand. The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. More rain is expected over Thailand.
Typhoon “GONI” over the Pacific Ocean is expected to move to Taiwan during August 22-23. All travelers should stay tuned for the weather update. The storm does not have a significant impact on Thailand.
