Weather Forecast During August 26-29, the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Lao PDR causing less rain over upper Thailand. The moderate southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand leads to rainfalls in the western portion and the South of Thailand.
During 30-31 Aug, the monsoon trough remains across the upper portion of North and the Northeast, and the stronger southwest monsoon will prevail over the upper Andaman Sea, southern and the upper Gulf of Thailand. Increasing rain is expected over the country with the wave height about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea.
Typhoon “GONI” is moving across Japan during August 25-26. All passengers traveler to Japan and republic of Korea would check the weather forecast before your departure. The storm does not have a significant impact on Thailand.
