Weather Forecast During 16-18 Sep, a low pressure cell downgraded from tropical depression “VAMCO” covers the lower Northeast, the Central and the East, and the intense southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain is likely over Thailand with isolated heavy rain in the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. The strong wind waves 2-3 meters high are expected in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.
During 19-22 Sep, a low pressure over upper Thailand will weaken and move to cover Myanmar and the upper Bay of Bengal, and the weakening southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand. Decreasing rain is expected over Thailand except the North and the western portion.
Warning During 16-18 Sep, People in the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
