General Situation The monsoon trough lies across lower North, the upper Central and the lower Northeast of Thailand. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread rain, as well as isolated heavy rain, is likely in the East and the South. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution.

By last night of 28 September, Typhoon “DUJUAN” was moveing pass Taiwan and tomorrow make landfall over FUJIAN, China. All travelers should stay tuned for the weather update. The storm does not have a significant impact on Thailand.

Lop Buri, Saraburi and Chai Nat.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mostly in Prachin Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Very cloudy with scattered thundershowers

mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla and Phatthalung.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mostly in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.

Minimum temperature 21-24 C. Maximum temperature 29-31 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters.

Metropolitan Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers.

Minimum Temperature 26-27 C. Maximum Temperature 33-35 C.
